If anybody’s wondering, my favourite film was Mike Leigh’s Mr. Turner, favourite documentary is a toss–up between The Possibilities Are Endless and All This Mayhem and my favourite gig was The Nectarine No. 9 performing Saint Jack in its entirety at Rutherglen Town Hall – with Casual Sex supporting. Oh yeah.

That’s quite a list Jamie. Good to see The Vaselines, James King and The Lone Wolves, Future Islands, the Nightingales and, of course, Alvvays in there. Agree with most of the reissue list, especially The Bluebells Comp.

From the songs you listed last week I thought you obviously had decent ears and a pretty high degree of good taste. But then you have to go and spoil things by bandwagon jumping and including the flavour of the month but clearly lacking a modicum of talent Sleaford Mods.
